| Greetings everyone! You may or may not have seen some of the renders I've made on my (URL) Brickshelf Folder>. A while ago, I posted my 'FastRad' settings there, but I think that they were a bit too messy and complicated. I have since cleaned them (...) | (...) Thanks Lars, Rosco and Tim. At last, I found what was wrong. I ran msconfig and discovered a junk character presented as a "wide pipe" (or black rectangle) at the end of LDRAWDIR line. It is also visible in original MS Notepad, but not in (...) (18 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

| (...) If your C:\Windows\ldraw.ini contains: [LDraw] BaseDirectory=f:\LDraw it should not be necessary to set the LDRAWDIR environment variable also. Though (URL) might give the opposite impression L3P first uses LDRAWDIR if set, otherwise it looks (...) (18 years ago, 23-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)

| (...) In Windows XP, they should be set by Control Panel / System / Advanced / Environment variables. I put mine in the system variable section. Earlier versions of Windows may be different, although I seem to remember it was always similar. ROSCO (18 years ago, 22-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad.ray)
