See in MLCAD there is the proper number of figs in the scene, however, when I render it with POV-Ray, it clones the News Reporter and the camera man(the two blue guys on the left hand side). What makes it worse is that the clones end up right were the other fig is with the same orientation as that fig. Sorry I know that makes no since, but if you look at the image I provided it does. The real camera man is on the far left, and the real reporter is to the right of him. I have searched through the POV-Ray file, but to no avail.... I haven’t encountered any duplicate data when I have scrolled through the file. Has anyone ever encountered this problem before? And more specificly, what causes it? Danke!

Heres the scene: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/3dbricks/Misc/street_intersection_01.png

What happens if you view the file in LDView 3.0? Does it render properly? Do you get any errors about MPD sub-files already being loaded? (After the file is loaded, go to View->Errors if LDView isn’t set to bring that up automatically when it encounters errors.) I believe that if an MPD contains multiple files of the same name, L3P and L3Lab will combine all the geometry from all the files of the same name. LDView will give you an error informing you about the duplication, and ignore the second instance in the MPD.

If you get errors in LDView, click on the plus sign to expand the error, then double click on the File: line under that to open the file in Notepad. Then go down to the second instance of the line listed at the bottom of the error. Delete everything starting from that line and continuing to the next 0 FILE line. (You’ll probably want to make a backup before doing this, by the way.)

Sorry for replying to myself, but I'm not sure if what I said made sense. If you do have the error I was talking about, it should look something like the following in LDView (after clicking the plus sign): (URL) In the above case, you would do a (...)
