10026 Naboo Fighter SE Render —Orion Pobursky
I rendered a picture of the 10026 using the cust_inc files with full radiosity. Since it took 27 hours to finish on my P3 500, I'm going to share the picture so that my wait wasn't wasted on just me. This one was rendered in 17 hr using the old (...) The reflected underside looks almost perfect, but the top side doesn't look like it's worth 27 hours. Details get lost in the brightness. Are (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) I would have tried to add a blu sky with cloud textures. That would probably make the reflective surface of the crome parts look more interesting. It may increase the rendering time even more, though. Fredrik (22 years ago, 18-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Wow, that are some amazing pictures! Did you make them yourself? I don't know if you can place an image on a skysphere, but you can place one on a "normal" sphere and make it very big (and hollow! don't forget that!). There is another thing to (...)      (...) appearance of the chrome bits is a positive or negative thing. On the one hand it suggests a true mirror-like finish; on the other hand it might be nice to get just a bit more detail out of those particular elements in the structure. The (...)    (...) Great render. Behind the R2 unit (after the tapering cuve piece), are those 2x3 (or2x4)wedge pieces on backwards? The chrome may be a tad too 'white'. Looks great tho' Jeff (22 years ago, 16-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)
