These are obviously amazing renders, but I can't decide if the almost white
appearance of the chrome bits is a positive or negative thing.  On the one
hand it suggests a true mirror-like finish; on the other hand it might be
nice to get just a bit more detail out of those particular elements in the
structure. The detail is almost entirely obliterated by the perhaps
excessively high reflectivity.

Is a dark chrome possible? Alternatively, a more reflective grey might work
also.

The reflection against the dark grey background field is just fantastic.

I rendered a picture of the 10026 using the cust_inc files with full radiosity. Since it took 27 hours to finish on my P3 500, I'm going to share the picture so that my wait wasn't wasted on just me. This one was rendered in 17 hr using the old (...) (22 years ago, 15-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)
