  Re: LGEO and colours

L3p does not seem to recognize the newer "LDlite" colors, including orange, tan, trans orange. For it to work use the color numbers in the list below. I've also added some other less-used colors. tan: 382 transparent-orange: 44 orange: 462 (...) (23 years ago, 12-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: LGEO and colours

(...) I get the same problems. I think it has to do with l3p not reconising it as an "official" ldraw color, but as a homemade/custom color. I do not know how to fix it though. l3p Does this to me with trans orange as well, so it is not just l3p (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  LGEO and colours

I've noticed that if I use tan in my models the parts actually come out using the default colour choice set using l3p (greyish if not defined). I've got the complete lgeo download and the #15 update. Anyone else managed to fix this? Or is something (...) (23 years ago, 10-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

I've changed a couple of details, like program now allows the user to decide whether window should be cleared or not when saving, and viewing window size follows appliction window's.   Rendering POV-Ray animations (was: Re: I need help on Pov-ray)

(...) There are some command line options you can use. I don't remember what they are called right now, but it's something like "start frame" and "end frame". So if you have rendered frame 1-7 out of a total of 50, say, you can simply tell POV-Ray (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Solution (DAT2LWS & Bryce)

I rushed together a little program that removes the lines that confuse Bryce. It has four buttons: * Suggest: Suggests the lines to be removes by checking them. * Change: Removes the checked lines. * Save: Saves the file by overwriting the old, (...)   Solution

This is a workaround and a little bit laborious, but it works fine on my German version of Bryce 4.0, even with a 23 Mbytes converted Lightwave-file.   Troubles DAT2LWS and Bryce

I'm having a little trouble with the DAT2LWS coverter and Bryce. For whatever reason Bryce won't import the .lws file created by the converter. Does anyone know a solution to this? -Orion (23 years ago, 1-May-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

"seams" like you have a problem :-) Open maulph4.dat in L3Lab, zoom to 800 %, select View/Seams (or click on the toolbar button with two yellow bricks) Voila! You have met with L3P/L3Lab (and LDView)'s (normally fair) assumption that any file from (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

L3P/POV and decimal places in DAT coords

While trying to complete my Darth Maul head I've noticed that the face polygons I've been adding don't quite meet the 3626bs01 subpart at the edges despite me copying the coords from the 3626bp01 part for the corners of these polygons. The gap is (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)
