I don't know why you think that, I posted on the LeoCAD mailing list last week trying to track down a bug and the parts update on the website has all LDraw updates included. I haven't released a new version in a long time, but I keep making small (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) Well, the last message from Leonardo Zide (the developer) is from January. There hasn't been an update for over a year so it looks like it. I think he's simplt too busy on the moment......... Fortunately some other people 'do' the part updates (...) (22 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

Ha, my post certainly stirred up some folks out there! I just want to let you know that allthough I'm not a mac user I simply prefer Leocad above (for example) MLCad because I think it's simply more intuitive and works a lot faster. I know that (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) No. It started out as a viewer, but I added an LEDIT compatible editor mode a long time ago. (...) You can do it that way by putting ldglite in polling mode. In fact that's what I initially thought would work best for me. But the poll and (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) But isn't Ldglite just a viewer, compared to the editor Leocad? That said, it seems to have the advantage of actually working, so maybe Emacs + Ldglite would be a viable way to edit Ldraw files. Last time I tried Leocad it crashed after a (...) (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

(...) Ouch! That stings. While it may not be as pretty as LeoCAD (or well documented) ldglite does work on linux. Here's a snapshot of ldglite creating a hose on an old mandrake system.
