This is all good reference for a tutorial, but IMHO we should all get
together for a tutorial based upon all our expiriance with creating parts.
From there a tutorial can be written? This is an idea but it will take
longer for that section of reference to be put up. Any suggestions?

That sounds like a good plan.  There are several resources regarding
parts creation, including the post from John and a post earlier last
week from Chris Dee.  Also, you submitted to me your parts creation
tutorial.

There is something I've written in the past that maybe is worthwhile to
include in the parts tutorial:
In the old FAQ under question 24 you find a text about handeling primitives,
especialy intended for aspirant authors who don't understand the concept of
trasformation matrices very well (Well, at least I didn't). It explanes step
by step how to scale and rotate an example primitive, without refering to
difficult math procedures.
The text may need some rewriting to make it fit propperly into the new
tutorial. I'm prepared to do this, when someone plays the role of the editor
and gives me some directions wich way to go.

Greetings, M. Moolhuysen.
