Nope.  I agree with what you guys are saying on hoses too.  They *should*
be in the model.  And its not a job left over for the model editors either ;)

here is my thoughts:
hoses go in model if possible (technic hoses for example cant be put in)
the same goes for wire,string,rubber bands (when someone makes a way of puting
those in)
all those type of parts go into a seperate sub file for each part (to make
folowing the model in say ledit easier)
the hoses should use a starndard naming system to identify the files
