| | LSC Proposal 0.99a
| This is a re-post of the LSC proposal 0.99 with two changes: I removed the stipulation under 'voting' about the ad-hoc committee per (URL) this thread>. I changed the dates for voting from one day (July 20) to five days, July 17-22. This covers both (...) (21 years ago, 1-Jul-03, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, FTX)

| (...) Cool! That is my long term goal with LDraw-mode, too. I'm hoping to be able to make Emacs/LDraw-mode communicate (over X?) with some CAD system. That will give me the power and flexibility of Emacs combined with the joy of the LDraw format. (...) (25 years ago, 3-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: Parts for LDraw or parts for POV-Ray?
| (...) Yep. Jacob Sparre Anderson has created a fractal landscape generator. It works in two steps, first you create a PGM bitmap (in an image editor, or using Jacob's fractal generator), then you convert the PGM to LDraw. Sorry, I don't have the URL (...) | I played around a little with an idea I had from working with ldboxer. No code is written yet, but you'll get a good idea of what I am thinking of if you watch this: (URL) (43 Kb) Just like in the ldboxer, the presentation of the Input File will be (...) | Don, That really sounds like a great idea. Have you sent Frederick an email about it? He's really on the ball on this sort of thing and always very quick to return an answer. I think that ldraw-mode is the best program for working with bendable (...) (22 years ago, 12-Oct-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | I have read the article about LCD
| I have read the article about LCD. The primary usage of an LCad library is to provide many quality virtual parts. So the future of LDraw library is more and better parts. The primary usage of an LCad tool is to select and position virtual parts. So (...) (23 years ago, 24-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.lcd)

| (...) I don't think it's a matter of correct/incorrect/right/wrong. It's a matter of agreeing on the definition for 'ldraw.org'. Or, it's a matter of deciding the parameters for the perimeter of our group, and then deciding on a name for that group. (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | Re: Could MPeedy be integrated into LDAO?
| It wouldn't be too hard for utility writers to write code to add their tool to LDAO. They just need to add a few settings to c:\windows\ldraw.ini. Let's see here... First, they need to create a new section for their tool: [My LDraw Tool] (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

I am thinking of what Larry Wall says about capitalization of Perl, something like "Perl" is the name of the language, "perl" is the utility you use for that language. In using LDraw (...)
