I think Kevin's done some work on the code that hasn't been uploaded to the CVS
repository so the current CVS source may be out of synch.

Sure! Tattle on me so I get in trouble!

Actually I've just been prototyping more compact part usages for hoses, using
variable length cross sections instead of fixed length cross sections.
