| | hey gyug... recently we spoke about implementing F5 refresh into LDLite... here are a few other ideas that have popped up over the last few days while authoring parts... since we probably all have come up from our roots in LEdit... i often find (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | | | (...) I would like to chime in here too. F5 refresh would be nice. Especially since v. 1.6 no longer does what 1.5 used to do; In 1.5, when the model was done rendering, you could sele Option|View and hit Enter to redraw the model. Now, you have to (...) | | | | (...) i second that... a stop feature would also help when using the -T option... some models won't let me close the LDLite window while rotating.. i have to go into Task Manager to get LDLite to stop... J (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | | | (...) Oh, Yes! I'd love a stop button. While we are making suggestions, I have a really wild one: Backwards Redraw. There are, I'm sure, technical difficulties involved in this, but it would be soooo nice if implemented well. Basically, I see this (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | | | OK: Stop button is officially on the TODO list. A backwards redraw would be nice, but I don't see an easy way to handle it in the code. The LDAO modeler can be useful here: you can set it up to only draw lines that are highlighted in the editor, or (...) (26 years ago, 16-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | | | | (...) Great! I just ran into another problem. The "Continuous" checkbox in the Options does not work. I wanted to view Karim's AT-AT and have it auto-rotate, but quickly found that the continuous feature wouldn't work. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 16-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | | | (...) You could draw using the normal algorithms, right? You'd just have to step through the main file backwards, one line at a time. BTW, great idea, Karim! --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com ---...---oooo-----(_...o---...--- WWW: (URL) (26 years ago, 16-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

| | | | (...) That's what I would think... Since it is already checking for Z-ordering, I could Force a backwards redraw by manually re-ordering the lines in the DAT file... and then I could nip off and shoot me-self :) But I don't see why LDLite couldn't (...)
