This is for everyone who considers themselves to be an L-CAD'er.
Two of the parts submitted for the next parts update are particularly hard to
categorize. These are the large cockpit base from the Rock Raiders, and the
windscreen base from Aquazone. These two pieces have some similarities to a
number of (existing) parts, but the one part with which they have the most
affinity (IMO) is 6058, the "Space Cabin Nose Base". However, Space is one of
those thematic categories which we are trying to eliminate, not populate.
So, I'm proposing that these three pieces be placed into a new category,
called Cockpit.
6058.DAT Cockpit 4 x 11 x 2 & 1/3
6085.DAT Cockpit 8 x 5 x 3
30299.DAT Cockpit 10 x 14 x 2 & 2/3
I've put up a webpage with images of the parts, and some other random thoughts
on the subject. It's at

Thoughts? Comments? Criticisms? Alternatives?
If I don't hear anything, I'll assume that everyone thinks this is the best
approach to take with these pieces.

| parts which I think should go into cockpit: 30299 6058 2337 2483 2620 30372 30384 4474 6084 6085 2507 and mabie 30037 551 2418 2443 2598 basicly I see the cockpit catogory as a place for those parts that are used as cockpits/canopies/etc (because I (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jul-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
