Short cuts for turning 90 degrees around x or z would be great too. (A
for 90 degree turn around y axis, S around x, D around z maybe?)

That reminds me, another good feature is the Start-at-Line option.

So do I, but only some times. After using LEdit for 4 years, I've
memorized some part numbers and I want to be able to enter them quickly
without touching the mouse.

That's not as fast as choosing view, right-rear, and it changes the file,
unlike changing the viewpoint does.

Right now, I Alt-Tab between LDlist and LEdit. But my screen clicks
every time it changes resolution (annoying) and sometimes (especially
when quiting LEdit) freezes.

I hadn't necessarily encountered these problems, they are just
suggestions for anyone getting started on an LCAD program.

I'm not in a position to criticize either, its just that I want these new
programs to go to good use. As long as they don't include or improve on
my favorite features of LEdit, I'm not going to switch. I _have_ used
features/programs I like (LDList for example-I never use my print-out of
part numbers any more. LDAO's minifig modeler[1] and LDLite's ROTATE,
etc.), so it is possible to make me switch out of DOS. :)

1) Steve: a few suggestions for the minifig modeler:
- allow colors other than 0-15.
- update 9326*.dat to 973*.dat
- if possible, let me add headgear (usually in the same
position/orientation as the head, so it shouldn't be too hard to
implement[2]), most often parts 2446 and 2447
2) right now, I need to open the file in LDAO editor and add the lines
myself
