Re: Status of SW Ion Cannon?

(...) I believe the newest L3P is totally up-to-date on primitive substitutions, but the previous did not substitute all cones. BTW, which cones did you use? I meas-timated the radii as 5 and 9, so the existing conic primitives don't fit very well. (...) (26 years ago, 19-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Minifig torso subpart (was suggestion for roadplate like parts)

(...) And I will take care of the back-sides as well. Chris, is it OK with you if I finish the detailing of the two torsos (dungarees and BT2, I think) that reference 9326.dat, instead of 9326-4t.dat? They both need to have the undecorated surface (...)   Re: lugnet.cad hierarhcy

(...) I know it is, and I thought I already knew your answer. I just wanted to let you know I wasn't trying to be pushy, or expect something for nothing. Steve (26 years ago, 19-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Minifig torso subpart (was suggestion for roadplate like parts)

(...) Yes, I agree, but this will mean more work to change the existing decorated torsos - adding three extra quads as well as changing the call to 9326-4t.dat and changing that subpart. I can do this, but it will take a little time - is that OK? (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: www.ldraw.org Registration Sent

I'll follow up with Tim offline but I'm pleased to make the following offer: I'll contribute either whatever Tim's short for the initial registration, or match the amount that Tim's over up to a limit of 100... that is if everyone else contributes (...)   Re: [ldraw.org] Domain Registration

(...) Right.. Now that the name is on its way to being registered, I'm starting to think more and more about the design. Choosing a font is tough, and I know some might give me flak for being so worried about astethics, but I want this site to be (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  www.ldraw.org Registration Sent

This morning Jacob Sparre Andersen sent me the information for the hugin.risoe.dk server where ldraw.org will be hosted, along with the technical contact info for the administrator at the Risø National Research Centre where the server resides. This (...) (26 years ago, 17-Apr-99, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Minifig torso subpart (was suggestion for roadplate like parts)

(...) That would be a wise idea. Chris? -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 17-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDraw part library structure

(...) You have been wiffling with him longer than I. I am _slowly_ learning that it is usually pointless to argue with Joshua over these subjects. Might need a few more bonks, though. :-) -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 17-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
