Dear Diary,
Most of this weekend, I've worked on the L3P Options panel instead of playing
around with the program as planned. The new features make a much nicer output,
so it has been worth the delay.
Progress in my todo-list so far (Updated):
* Support for new minifig parts - Done!
* Support for camera.dat and look_at.dat - Done!
* Automatic writing a batch file for L3P - Done! I have also added the most
important L3P options like disabling default lights, including light(s) from
model, overwrite POV file, background color (with five preset buttons), floor,
camera angle, and of course quality.
- - - - - - - -
* Playing around some with the program. Making small sample animations. Fixing
any bugs that may show up. Probably rewriting todo-list - Still just one small
animation made. Not a very good one either, but it proves that the camera and
look_at support works perfect! Added two new items to the todo-list.
* extract minifigs, wheels, camera, look_at and lights from models
* picking models in an Open dialog instead of typing their filenames - not the
highest priority, but it feels really bad to not have a UI for that.
* Moving the LDA project to an URL that I can update, and of course update it -
URL created, but not upated.
* Support for LDR extension - not yet started on, but it looks like the problems
I expected using .ldr files never occured. Maybe all I need to do is just change
'.dat' to '.ldr' at some places in the code.
* Support for project (=scene folders) - not yet started on.

| October 15, 2005 Not much work done the last two weeks. But at least I've added ldr support, and set .ldr extension as default in most cases. I've changed my mind again. Now I think MDPs can be a great idea when defining objects and their properties (...) (19 years ago, 15-Oct-05, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation, lugnet.cad.dev)

| I've changed priorities once again. The need of what I call standalone scripts have turned my todo-list upside-down. And the Tween command has made all the difference! After working all night, I finally made it work. That is, the first of the three (...) (19 years ago, 24-Feb-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.animation, lugnet.cad.dev)
