And what about going a step more?..I mean creating a new subdirectory named like "shorts" for the shortcuts. If you think about it, you can see that we have much of them (minifig, hinges, turntables, suspensions, universal joint, wheel holders, (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) AFAIK, the 7xxxx numbers are totally color-specific. That is not to say that we couldn't be surprised in the future and find an exception to that. Anything could happen. i really want the helpiad and curved roadway so i can see how to properly make baseplates with curved patterns e.g. i am considering making (properly) the classic space landing pad and the outer ring of the helipad is the same size as the yellow (...) (26 years ago, 27-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

here is my thoughts on the part numbers... i know that the numver 7xxxx assigned to the harpoon for example refers specificly to the chromed version but if TLG releases it in say blue whos to say that they will not decide to use the same number? we (...) I've been 'testing' the CyberMaster version of the Electric Touch Sensor in POV-Ray and noticed a few details: I don't know if the contacts of the studs where yellow in some time in the past, but nowadays they are silver. Wow...How nice. I really like this idea. I have been always behind the idea of separating those two universe, but couldn't realise that they could be both "separate" and "together" at the same time.
