Windows with Glass (Was: Voting Open...)

(...) Oops! Following the standard James Jessiman set (part 453 and many more), the colour should be 39. Someday we ought to make a complete remake of all those windows. Then the most natural colour would be 47. Someday... Thansk, Chris. Steve, (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

(...) <snip> (...) I think the overall quality of the parts in this update is one of the best I have seen. An update worth waiting for - well done Steve for putting it together and thanks to all the authors for some really excellent detailed work. (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Parts-authoring FAQ? (Was: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer)

(...) I'm (...) co-ordinate, but haven't gotten around to it yet - mainly because I am unsure what topics need to be addressed. I'll take another look at it, but if anyone has ideas of topics that ought to be included, please post them here. In fact (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Parts-authoring FAQ? (Was: Hacked my first part -- 4349 Town Loudhailer)

(...) ...and... (...) ...and... (...) Sounds like good fodder for a parts-authoring FAQ. Is there one? Other than Q24 in the LDraw FAQ (1), of course... Perhaps Q24 (and Q31 and the primitives reference (2)) should be broken out and re-organized as (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.dev)

Here are my repies... --Calvin Walton (...) <snip> (...) I have a Voodoo3 2000 on Windows 98, and fullscreen mode works well. (No crashing, good display, alt-tab works, and I can exit.) (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: File management

(...) If you've got the files stuffed into an MPD, there's no real need to keep separate copies of them. I do it anyway, but I'm weird. If a file is truly junk, I'll delete it. I move all my completed/inactive projects out of the Models directory, (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

(...) What Fredrik said. If the comment is just about the part-name, you can probably just post it in the vote. But if you're commenting about the part itself, it's better to post it here, and/or e-mail the author. (...) Send 'em in! Any fixes I get (...) (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  *** LDView v0.7 Released ***

You can now download LDView v0.7 from: (URL) version contains my inital attempt at fullscreen support. It works on my video card (nVidia TNT-based), but I do not own any other OpenGL-capable video cards on which to test it. If you are worried about (...)   Re: Voting Open for LCAD Parts Update 2000-02

(...) If you only comment on the parts in the vote, Steve Bliss will have to mail the comments out to the respective parts authors. I think it is much simpler to post the comments here, so that everyone can read and followup on them. Fredrik (24 years ago, 29-Aug-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
