  Re: Java LDraw/LDLite

(...) Yep, it is ARJ. Specifically ARJ version 2.30. I don't recall anything about launching another program from the extractor in this version (which is pretty old) A quick search of the docs didn't turn up anything either. -- Terry K -- (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad)

Re: LF vs. CRLF in server .DAT script

(...) Indeed! Full-on :-( (...) Oh. Sorry, it probably wasn't a GPF. After all these years I'm still in the habit of saying something "GPF'd on me." I don't even think that's what MS calls it anymore. Well anyhow, the screen flashed and then LDLITE (...) (26 years ago, 3-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: More parts feedback

Steve Bliss wrote in message <36dc5cd4.12366728@l...et.com>... (...) This really should be fixed before the update. The center of the shaft should be at x=0, z=0. I would put the bottom of the shaft at y=0, too. (...) Why do you say this? I think (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  More parts feedback

Here are my comments on the remainder of the parts in the vote. The "I don't have this part" comments are there so y'all'll know I couldn't verify the accuracy of this part, I only looked for obvious problems. I believe all of the patterned parts (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Java LDraw/LDLite

(...) That would be a challenge -- there's no master list of all DATs on the system, so it would be a matter of searching the hard-drive, but only updating valid LDraw DAT files. Blech. There should (and may be) a utility that can clean up all files (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Java LDraw/LDLite

(...) That's me. (...) This only works for models in ldraw\models, but not for any in sub-directories. I'm not sure how one would go about automating the update of models in arbitrary directories. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad)

Re: Part Numbering Crisis in LDraw

(...) The big problem is someone has to notice the new color, and then someone has to make the change in the next part update. Why subject ourselves to this headache? (...) But we aren't zipped, and there are plenty of people with Win95/FAT16 hard (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: [3068 with groove] (was:DAT voting page up)

(...) Part #3945, the 1x2 plate with two side handles. Steve (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Java LDraw/LDLite

(...) The editors I know of (LEdit and LDAO) don't automatically update moved parts. But it is a good idea that they should do so. I'm adding it to my list of suggestions. (...) It seems like someone (Lars? Tore? Leo?) wrote a program that would (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad)

Re: [3068 with groove] (was:DAT voting page up)

(...) 3945.DAT Plate 1 x 2 with Handles (URL) don't know about this part nowadays, but I remember back in the days of classic space that this part came in _many_ versions. At least I can remember three different. Some has 2 unit long handles with (...) (26 years ago, 2-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
