Re: 3840p01 Minifig Vest with Danger Stripes Stickers (Was: x740 Minifig Vest)

(...) I recall a long thread about this back on LCAD. I thought we agreed then that stickers should be treated as separate "parts", since they can in theory be stuck anywhere. It kind of got held up because sticker "parts" have only a very small (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Storage and Display of OMR Files

(...) To add some clarification to the original newsgroup idea, I didn't mean that things like the Lugnet sets-DB would automatically root through the newsgroups and point to any old version of a model that happened to appear in the .models.sets (...)   Re: LDAO Suggestion Mark 2

(...) Something to consider here is future expansion into a UNIX-ish (or Java, or Perl/TK, etc.) version of LDraw. The availability of setting startup parameters on the command-line in these cases is essential. (...) Oh. :-, I wonder if I'm a (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDAO Suggestion Mark 2

(...) One problem I have with the command-line option is that the command line is already long enough. But that doesn't mean that having the option is bad. (...) I was worried about the user more than the developer. (...) In VB, there's a function (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Storage and Display of OMR Files

I need some pointers and input on how the OMR should display the download pages and also where the files will be stored. I remember when discussions on the OMR first started the general consensus was to use a Lugnet newsgroup to store the (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: LDAO Suggestion Mark 2

(...) Definitely. (...) Both IMHO are necessary. I do all my non-LDAO (which is quite a bit) LDraw/LDLite stuff from the command-line. VC++ doesn't make it *that* hard to implement exotic command-line parameters, especially if one uses getopt(). I (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: [LDAO] New beta version available

(...) Well, I went and checked again, and you were right about Mover eating the first on each line of header comments. That's been fixed. I've *got* to make Mover do recursive corrections (ie, fix submodels). And directory-wide operations. Steve (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: [LDAO] New beta version available

Yes, They were with 2.1.0, but let me just check... hmm doesn't seem to be doing it, maybe it was on the other one I was using, which was two before this beta. Maybe I was just confused. I was going between the two last night. I'd have both open and (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Mindstorm Part Numbers

Has anyone tried this? This would be a boon to good numbers for LDraw. -John Van Robert Munafo <munafo@gcctech.com> wrote in message news:FE5sz6.Lu0@lugnet.com... (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: [LDAO] New beta version available

Were the problems with Mover and Inliner in the new beta version (2.1.0), or an older version of LDAO? I checked the current code this morning, and both operations seem to work fine, in both \models and subdirectories of \models. The only problem (...) (25 years ago, 1-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
