Re: some questions about the OMR

i have several sets without sub models and some with submodels and some that are half and half. some would be a pain in the ass to re-do such as the metroliner but some may be able to be done... (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Tim Courtney <tim@zacktron.com> wrote in message news:199906211334.GA...omm.com... (...) Tim, I think the ideal is to have submodels separate, preferably in a .mpd file. But I think we should accept sets without submodels with the caveat that if (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: SW laser cannon name

Antenna would be about the last place I would look for this. First would be Space, then Bar, then maybe Brick or Support. It's basically a bar with a brick attached or a brick with a bar attached. I would suggest the Bar category since we are trying (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: SW laser cannon name

(...) Oooo. Very creative idea. It *does* look more like an antenna than anything else. I like this, I just wonder if people will be able to find it in the 'antenna' category. Then again, no matter where it goes, people are going to have trouble (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  SW laser cannon name

Yikes! I was just trying to put the update together, and realized that we did not have a suitable name for the cannon: 30359.DAT Space Star Wars Cannon I would _prefer_ that we not leave it as-is. Come on people, where to put it? What do you think (...) (25 years ago, 23-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  RE: L3P primitive substitution

(...) No, none of the cyls primitives are currently substituted. Type "l3p -pp" to see a list of L3P's POV-equivalents. When I started primitive substitution, I ran through all parts and counted the usage of the primitives. Not surprisingly stud.dat (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  RE: Bug eyes, anyone?

I measured mine (from the lunar rover), and I measure an angle of around 86 or 87 degrees (it's hard to make it accurate with only 1 unit to attach to). --- Dave Hylands Email: DHylands@creo.com 3700 Gilmore Way Principal Software Developer Tel: (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Bug eyes, anyone?

Can someone take a look at part 30209, the bracket used to hold the 4x4 faceted hemisphere? It's used in Insectoids to hold the eyes, but more recently in the Spaceport lunar rover. My copy is "bent" or angled, meaning that if I attach the 1X2 plate (...) (25 years ago, 21-Jun-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
