  Re: lugnet.cad hierarhcy

(...) Just as a side note, when I encounter the same situation, I just press "^" to see the original article, even if it is in a different newsgroup.   Re: lugnet.cad hierarhcy

(...) How do you follow the threads across groups? What newsreader do you use? What do you do when you're in the .cad.dat group and you want to see if there are any followups yet to the post you're reading? When you do find a model in the .cad.dat (...)   Re: lugnet.cad hierarhcy

(...) Well, that would kind of bring things full-circle then, huh? :) The reason for dividing up .cad.dat, BTW, is (a) to help organize [at a very superficial first-order layer] postings about parts, models, ideas, etc., and (b) to help focus the (...)   Working on Part 30357

I just had a sudden urge to do some part authoring again and decided to do 30357, the 3x3 plate w/ round corner that is in the SW Landspeeder set. I checked the parts tracker and its not there, but I can't remember the password to add it myself. (...) (25 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: "~moved to" files and parts.lst  [DAT]

(...) Part #30079 is mis-positioned. It is not aligned for easy placement. I don't remember the exact numbers, maybe you have to move the piece up by -3LDU to 'click' it into a model, I don't remember. There was discussion about correcting the part, (...)   Re: Shell Extension DLL for lcd and dat files

(...) OK. It says it is successfully installed. But nothing happens when I try to use it with dat files. For that matter, I have MS Word for Win95 version 7.00, and it doesn't do anything like that for .doc files either. -- Terry K -- (25 years ago, 28-Apr-99, to lugnet.cad.dev)
