  Re: Official LEGO Color Chart

Wow...that's a lot o' colors... Neat! -Stefan- (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Official LEGO Color Chart

(...) The way I see it, we probably will never switch to calling colors by their LEGO names - some, like 'Lig. Yellowich Orange' just don't work for me :) It would be nice to correlate the names we use to the entries in the table. For that matter, (...) (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Official LEGO Color Chart

(...) After staring at this list for a while, I think it will be a sea change to use some of these names. For example: color #25 is called 'Earth Orange'. To my eye, this looks much darker than the color of a Kaadu (which we have called earth (...) (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Fantastic ! Is that believed to be complete, even inclusive of the odd scala, belville and HP colors ? Ray (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Official LEGO Color Chart

Oh my goodness! Are there really that many colors of LEGO?! Great to see some TLC collaboration. Something I wish there was a lot more of. Great work, keep it up!! :-) ~Mike (...) (21 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev) !

  Official LEGO Color Chart

Thanks to Jake and TLC, we just posted an official LEGO color chart, with RGB, CMYK, and Pantone colors, and a danglish name! Take a look: (URL) will be working in the next few weeks with LDraw to associate each of these colors with our current (...)   elimination of theme categories

Ref: (URL) from: (URL) ...I want to put off making major changes (...) Since we've had the Parts Tracker running for a while now, is this a good time to resurrect this other issue? ;) Thanks, Franklin (21 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Rounding Utility?

Has anybody made a rounding utility? I mean, put dat files with numbers like 0.5369117673 in and get 0.537 out. I'd prefer it as an LDDP plugin, but a standalone program will do, too. /Tore (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Help on Equation (Was: modeling monorail ramps)

(...) I calculate c = 5300 / 3 = 1766.667 The math: c^2 = (c-120)^2 + 640^2 c^2 = c^2 - 240*c + 120^2 + 640^2 0 = -240*c + 424000 240*c = 424000 c = 424000 / 240 = 5300 / 3 = 1766.667 Hope this helps. John (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Help on Equation (Was: modeling monorail ramps)

It looks like the I could create quick mockups for the ramps if only I could calculte the radius of a thought circle made of MR ramps. Here's a triangle with a 90 deg's angle AB and the hypotenuse c equlas the radius: a=640 b=c-120 c=<unknown> That (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: modeling monorail ramps (TrackDraw)

(...) ... I've gotten all of the monorail track modeled and working (sort of) in TrackDraw. Here's what I ended up with: - Most monorail track has a connection of type '1'. Type '1' just means that it mates with other monorail pieces of type '1'. - (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: modeling monorail ramps (TrackDraw)

(...) Another reason could be that it is not possible to connect any other monorail part between them. All other MR track have a male connector to the left and at female to the right. But the upper side of the lower ramp part has two male (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)
