Re: Problem with click hinge part(s)?

(...) Joel Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'll do what I can to correct the official part library in the next parts update. Chris Dee (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: Click-Rotation Parts  [DAT]

(...) Sorry but there is no finished part yet. (...) I could send you a nearly finished part (48169) where the bottom is open. But else it's finished. To Steve Bliss or Chris Dee: I've made the cylinder-thing with high-res- primitives because it was (...) (20 years ago, 26-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Color scheme in Brick 1 x 6 x 5 with Rocket Launch Pattern?

(...) I have now located my copy of this part. The areas you mention defintely have a feint blue coloration. I believe this is deliberate, as I can make out the regular pattern of screening dots. This is most obvious on the larger areas, but I (...) (20 years ago, 11-Jul-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: Problem with click hinge part(s)?  [DAT]

(...) We are both partially right - but there is a generic problem with these parts. The important dimension is the position of the axis of rotation of the click hinge, relative to the brick. For the geometry to work this must be the same distance (...) (20 years ago, 20-Jun-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

New part 3648a - Technic Gear 24 Tooth with 3 Axleholes  [DAT]

OK, after much work, refinement, and most especially help from Mark Kennedy, Chris Dee, Steve Bliss, and Orion Pobursky, I have finally finished my first part along with several supporting primitives (thus the cross-post to LCDPP). (...) Actually its the other way about. 30387 is wrong. More accurately, the subpart s/30387s01.dat does not match the guidance notes in p/clh1 and p/clh4. 0 // Placement on side of bricks; rotate accordingly, 0 // place on side 10 Ldu below top (...)   Re: "Dither" colors in patterned/sticker parts

(...) I don't know if I got that right. Isn't Maersk Blue one of those part colors most wrongfully and misleadingly labeled as a "dithered" color? (...) I suggest the 0x2RRGGBB form is recommended for less "basic"/established pattern and sticker (...) (15 years ago, 7-Feb-10, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: 6-stud road baseplates with dark grey road pattern parts

(...) Whilst there is probably a unique TLC number for decorated parts, the LDraw convention is to use a Pxx suffix to the part number, based on the ranges of Pxx numbers documented at (URL) In this case p01 is appropriate.   Re: Issues with a Few Parts on the Tracker

Re: Issues with a Few Parts on the Tracker

(...) This part has a bad history. Originally 122.dat was used for the combo part of the base and the wheels. To maintain backward compatibility when this was changed to 122c01.dat, 122.dat became a "~Moved to" file. So now we cannot go back and use (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
