I haven't followed this thread, but after a brief glance, I think it is closely related to the PIPE function I

| (...) related. Quite a coincident! Your function takes two (or more) 4-4edge primitives and connects them with quads, to create a "pipe" like object. My function takes two arbitrary connected curves made up of type-2 lines and fills in the space (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
