I figured I needed a very simple part to warm up. Talking about "not too far off", should I (...) (21 years ago, 20-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Keep in mind that 1 LDU is already 1/64th of an inch, making 0.001 LDU 1/64000 of an inch! No part file needs that level of detail. The (...) (21 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

But I would suggest you to round off to (at least) two (...) (21 years ago, 29-Sep-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

It was better, but I still wish the vertices aligned in columns. (...) (21 years ago, 1-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

| | | | (...) The general standard is to go up to 3 decimal places in part files. I agree, main vertices really don't need more than 1 or 2 places. For derived vertices, more precision may be require to keep everything aligned, so going out to 3 places is (...) (21 years ago, 1-Oct-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)
