Right, but what I want to say is that if the filesize is to big the file needs
a lot of time to render. When this is splitted into subfiles the renderer only
needs to read smaller subfile. This saves rendertime.

| (...) That's been my view as well. In addition, is disk space usage really a factor? I mean, I have a small (3 gig) hard drive, and my whole LDraw file set takes up only a couple megs.
