    Subpart thingy. —Mark Kennedy
   Here is a new subpart I made for use on all those corner plates. Also I am working on a plate 8X8 with corner missing number 30504 available in the Harry Potter sorting hat. 0 1 16 1.50 4 -1.50 6 0 -1.50 0 4 0 6 0 1.50 box4-1.dat 1 16 -1.50 4 1.50 1 (...)      Um, what are you calling this sub-part? (...) (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Steve Bliss suggesting using "box-t.dat" for the file name so I will likely be going with that. (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) I'm afraid you'll have to make the subpart (primitive?) from scratch. The shortcut suggested above has an undesirable edge line (and also an always hidden surface). /Lars (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) What program are you using to view the part? I looked at it in l3lab and it looked fine. There is not supposed to be a top surface on the part. (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Subpart thingy. —Lars C. Hassing
(...) Great program, huh? I use it too :-) If you look at it from the bottom you can see that the T-surface is divided into two by an edge-line (Zoom 3000%): (URL) always hidden surface is seen here: (URL) the subpart is made out of quads (and not (...)         Re: Subpart thingy. —Mark Kennedy
(...) The extra line IS present in the 30504 piece, at least the one that I had, as well as several other peices. It is just very faint. As for the hidden surface, I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it were to crash your system or slow down (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
