I'm afraid you'll have to make the subpart (primitive?) from scratch.
The shortcut suggested above has an undesirable edge line
(and also an always hidden surface).

| (...) What program are you using to view the part? I looked at it in l3lab and it looked fine. There is not supposed to be a top surface on the part. (23 years ago, 25-Oct-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
