Actually, is there any reason (other than guidelines developed based on
symmetry) to orient the hat so the feather hole is in front? I'd say,
rotate the part file 120 degrees, and just put in a comment about placement
of the feather. Let the user decide how they want to orient and rotate
stuff, we're just supplying the numbers that are hard to figure out.
Something like:
0 To put a plume in the hat, add the following line to your model:
0 1 15 -10.3923 -10 6 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 4502a.dat
Or:
0 The centerpoint of the feather hole is -10.3923 -10 6.
