I can't load my new files...

...Because someone took my part numbers. Well over a year ago (closer to two years ago, if memory serves), I was given the range of x460 through x489 for any LDraw file I wrote whose part number I didn't know. (These are called "temporary part (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part: Modulex\brk0220.dat - Modulex (R) Brick 2 x 20

(...) OK, I see the problem. (...) This is a good idea. So I would agree with that. CU Bernd (21 years ago, 20-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part: Modulex\brk0220.dat - Modulex (R) Brick 2 x 20

(...) I'm inclined to agree, as I have been struggling with this conceptual problem, since borrowing a selection of Modulex with the intention of authoring some parts for LDraw. Are there any Modulex parts that _do_ actually bind with regular LEGO? (...) (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part: Modulex\brk0220.dat - Modulex (R) Brick 2 x 20

(...) Have you really considered the consequenses when modelling? It will be almost impossible to calculate the positions of the parts. Or at least very, very time consuming. /Tore (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New Part: Modulex\brk0220.dat - Modulex (R) Brick 2 x 20

(...) I think the scale of Modulex parts should hardcoded (62.5% of normal size in dat-code). No separation. So it has the same norm as the "normal" Lego parts (1 mm = 2.5 LDU). CU Bernd (21 years ago, 19-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Minifig Helmets

(...) Thanks for doing the research. As a result, I think "Chin Guard" is preferable. Chris (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Minifig Helmets

<all the stuff I agree with snipped, leaving only the trivial> (...) I agree with the idea, but is "Chin-Guard" a standard word? It's not in either dictionary.com or m-w.com (I really need to get my books out of storage. . .) and a Google search on (...)   Re: Minifig Helmets

(...) I can go along with that! ;) (Good catch, by the way! ;) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Minifig Helmets

(...) I agree and prefer Chin-guard too. (...) Doh - no, of course not. I meant 193a : Minifig Helmet Classic with Thin Chin-guard 193b : Minifig Helmet Classic with Thick Chin-guard (...) Chris (21 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Minifig Helmets

(...) So, by your own logic, the classic helmets should be: (...) (I personally think the above makes more sense, incidentally. None of the helmets have chin straps, because that would have to go under the chin.) On a side note, are those supposed (...)   Re: Minifig Helmets

(...) I'm partial to Chin-Guard. A chinstrap is a miniature belt that braces itself against your chin to hold your helmet onto your head. A chin-*GUARD* on the other hand protects your chin. (...) I like the inclusion of Castle. But we should (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: Minifig Helmets

(...) I'd like to reach closure on this in preparation for the next parts update. I have re-thought my decsion about 193+593 vs. 193a+193b, mainly in the light of the Classic Window discussion, where we are allowing suffices on 3DNs. And I also take (...)   Re: Naming of parts

(...) Perhaps the above mentioned (and other similar) parts would best be called "wedge plates". Wedge due to the shape and plate due to the thickness. There is such a variety of shapes and shapes there will always be exceptions to whatever (...) (21 years ago, 17-Feb-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
