For a long time, we've had a mix of orientation for asymmetric(al?) parts -- some were placed longways on the X-axis, some along the Z-axis. Awhile (...) I just uploaded a Rubber Belt Generator utility, that creates DAT files for rubber belts taut between two pulleys. The rubber belt generated can have a square section or a round one, using cylinder primitive. This utility is available from (URL) (...) (...) Inlining is replacing a reference to a subfile with the code from that file. So if I had a part file, which had the line: 1 1 10 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 stud.dat and I "inlined" the stud.dat, my one line would be replaced with: 1 1 10 0 0 6 0 0 (...) I know there's some writeup about dithered colors, but I believe Damien is thinking of the 'extended colors', the color codes between 17 and 26 (excluding 24) that are defined in the LDraw.org color reference.
