Re: New stud 4 primitive for plates with holes  [DAT]

"Mark Kennedy" <mkennedy@peak.org> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:GrFCoL.MzM@lugnet.com... (...) Stud4 files are in the bottom of a piece and possible they need to stretch sometimes. So the height of the hole is not constant. So I think it's easier to (...) (23 years ago, 12-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

New stud 4 primitive for plates with holes  [DAT]

Here is a new version of the stud 4 primitive for use in technic plates and other parts with holes in the plates. By including the ndisks into the primitive they can be ommited from the part thus saving space, the bad news is that when you turn (...)   Re: New Part: 168135a.dat - Sticker Technic Supercar 4x4x4 Logo

(...) Hmm. I opened this in LDLite 2.4, put it into 'twirl mode', and there was some serious bleedthru at various (odd) angles. I didn't try twirling the original (1LDU-high) file. LDraw and LEdit handled the file just fine. But I didn't try to (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 168135a.dat - Sticker Technic Supercar 4x4x4 Logo  [DAT]

I made some modification: 1. Changed the filename as Steve suggested. 2. Reduced the thickness (thinness? :-))of the thin box to 0.25 LDU as Bernd Broich suggested. In L3Lab it did'nt cause any bleed-through. 3. Included a placeholder in the part (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 168135s01.dat - Sticker Technic Supercar 4x4x4 Logo

Hi all, (...) I think the height of the box can be 0.2-0.25 LDU (0.2 is the minimum I tested in some LCAD-programs), this is in the near of the real thickness of the stickers. (...) I also have a lot of stickered parts and want to make them, but I (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 168135s01.dat - Sticker Technic Supercar 4x4x4 Logo

One question I forgot to pose: Since this file includes a direct copy of the LEGO trademark logo, should it have a copyright notice/disclaimer in the code? Steve (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: New Part: 168135s01.dat - Sticker Technic Supercar 4x4x4 Logo

(...) Looks good! (...) I'm ok with all of these points. There doesn't seem to be a problem with bleed-thru at normal resolution (at least, L3Lab doesn't have a problem), so the 1LDU-thick box is OK. (...) Instead of a three-character suffix, drop (...) (23 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Cypress Tree?

Has anyone modeled the Cypress tree? If so, I would really like to have the dat file please! (in the meanwhile, am making do with 'streatched' fruit tree). (23 years ago, 4-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

New Part: 168135s01.dat - Sticker Technic Supercar 4x4x4 Logo  [DAT]

Dear list, I prepared the first sticker for the 8880 Technic Supercar set. ( The rough scans of the stickers can be viewed here: (URL) Joshua informed me the sticker sheet of this set bears the number 168315, so according to the subpart naming (...)   Re: Any minifig hair pieces available?

(...) The regular male hair was released as part 3901 in update 2001-01. It's not perfect, but usable, IMHO. The others are _more_ difficult. Chris (23 years ago, 31-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
