(...) You can see the missing upper dome lines here. (URL) there seem to be some type 2 lines that should perhaps be type 5 lines on the undersides of some of the technic pin sockets? I am looking for a DAT file for part 2484. I found this file on LUGNET from a couple of years ago. (URL) DAT file appears to be incomplete as it is just the top of the sprint axel assembly. (...) Well, now that you mention it, there are a few more missing type 5 lines around the top of the upper dome and the bottom of the lower dome. I do not believe the type 2 lines around the border of the pattern are necessary - type 2 lines really only serve two purposes i) to represent an edge between two non co-planar surfaces, (...) (...) Lines 993 to 996 have type 2 lines with color 0 instead of color 24. You could also use some more type 5 lines where the "dome xxxx sweep" sections meet the rectangles like along the outer edges. Line 766 has one such rectangle. Otherwise, it (...) This is the R2D2 head from the Droid Developed Kit. Please let me know what you think. Has anyone ever put patterns on a curved surface? Thanks, Fred! That was fast! :-o Putting .emacs in C:\ fixed the problem (I even see the font in colors :-)). Now onto bending a piece of straw/hose from my Mindstorms Vision Command Set! (...) Generally, you may want to replace backward slashes with forward ones when talking with Emacs. However, I believe that Emacs is generally clever enough to understand what you mean, so I don't think this is what stops your progress. Still, you (...)
