Minifig Head with Darth Maul pattern - 3626bpDM.dat  [DAT]

I've finally completed the head apart from optional lines, I wanted to post it here so it can be reviewed before I add the final touches. POV renders at 800x600 have been posted at (URL) if you don't want to render it yourself :) LMKWYT. Dan 0 (...) (23 years ago, 26-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Where, oh where, can I get a part number for a patterned piece?

(...) Speaking of pattern numbers, I have created the gold-faced android head and developed a fix to the silver one (3626Bp63.dat), so that both parts are compatible. My problem is that numbers on both sides of the head are claimed by other groups. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Minifig Head with Darth Maul pattern 3626bpDM.dat (in progress)  [DAT]

Latest version of the head, face now 50% complete, no optional lines. Should be able to complete this by the end of the week. Part number was suggested by Franklin Cain, but if Steve or Chris want to suggest another one I'm open to discussion :) (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Parts Update?

(...) Jeremy, You don't have to beg... I am perfectly willing to share all the parts I have created or updated that are either official or could have a multi-purpose uses. For example, the 1 x 2 C.V.G.S. Tile is a 4-color version of a 5-colored tile (...) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Parts Update?

(...) Regrettably, the only way I know of to get any of the DAT files posted but not yet packaged and released, is to hunt for them one-by-one here at LUGNet.CAD... :-( This is one of the reasons I was so thankful that Tore was doing the Parts (...)   Re: Where can I get a part number for a patterned piece?

(...) Dan, I'd recommend using the filename "3626bpDM.dat" for this DAT file. Here's a URL for a partial explanation: "(URL) (23 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Parts Update?

(...) Which raises the question (for me anyway) -- where can I get these parts before they're voted upon? You know, strictly for preview purposes only...honest. ;-) Cheers, - jsproat (23 years ago, 24-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Parts Update?

(...) M'sieur Tim, I thank you for concerning yourself about the well-being of the parts authors. I, however, am one that actually tries to design new elements *during* his work hours (because I'm usually too spread out otherwise). As for the person (...)   Where can I get a part number for a patterned piece?

I've almost finished the Minifig Head with Darth Maul pattern but I don't have a part number yet. I remember seeing a post a while ago with the URL to the page that keeps track of patterned part numbers but I can't find it - can anyone let me know? (...)   Re: Parts Update?

No insult or complaint was implied by my message. 'What gives?' is just my way of being curious. I've been gone for the the last few month due to the fact I'm in the U.S. Navy and was just wondering why. If you find "what gives" disheartening I (...)   Re: Parts Update?

(...) This has come up enough times, after a long enough time, that perhaps some mention of this should go onto the ldraw.org front page (just after the "Contribute" blurb), or on the parts update page, or both.   Parts Update?

Am I the only one disappointed by the fact that we haven't had a new infusion of parts in over 6 month? Maybe I missed some earlier discussion, but what gives? Orion (23 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Darth Maul Head part phase 3 at BrickShelf

Re: Darth Maul Head part phase 3 at BrickShelf  [DAT]

Darth Maul Head part phase 3 at BrickShelf  [DAT]

Just uploaded my latest adjustment to my attempt at the Darth Maul minifig head part to (URL) , mpd attached.   "maxi-fig" hands

Is there an "official" LDRAW part for the old "maxi-fig" hands? The ones I'm talking about are a 1x1 round plate with an open stud and an attached tow-ball. If not, please let me know and I'll whip up a temporary one and post it. Thanks, Matt (23 years ago, 20-Apr-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
