  new part: baseplate 32 x 32 raised with ramp  [DAT]
 
here it is, the one part that has tormented me ever since i first decided to do it this is the first version of the part where i have had the real part to check i spend all morning and a good deal of last night checking and fixing this part. the (...) Unfortunatly, this "piece" isn't a cylinder. It is somewhat conical. At least, mine are (admittedly, they were sitting on the wheels for about 12 years, and the wheel is conical). Jeff (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

I stand corrected, there is such thing as a 5 minute part (3 actually). Using primitives, it would be: 1 16 0 0 0 20 0 0 0 0 20 0 1 0 4-4edge.dat 1 16 0 0 0 22 0 0 0 0 22 0 1 0 4-4edge.dat 1 16 0 0 12 20 0 0 0 0 20 0 1 0 4-4edge.dat 1 16 0 0 12 22 0 (...) here is the first of the parts i am making from a large amount of lego borrowed from my brothers friend. only thing i am not sure about is the optional lines on the edges. it fits perfactly to tore's 718.dat train wheel spoked. 0 Train Wheel Rubber (...) here is a mpd file of a test dat file i knocked up to test whether bmp2dat could be used for making parts by making the bitmap at a much larger size than is required and letting ldraw resize it smaller. the pattern is not supposed to be correct (...) the way i name my "stickers" are simply 0 ~Sticker:Maersk Logo thats an example.of coarse there are litterally millions of stickers, official and unofficial custom. now the "~" is ment for subparts. and if you think bout it, stickers can be (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Stickers are a problem. The current stance is to not accept parts with stickers. Preprinted parts only. This is because there are an infinite number of ways a sticker could be applied to a piece. In the future, it would be nice to have (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)
