I would love a night scene, with lots of small lights in the houses and shops and from the streets. Maybe a car parked on the steet with lights forgotten to turn off. And..., and... Wow! Duane, that is one, awesome ambulance. That's the best I've ever seen a six-wide vehicle with only a four-wide cab look. It is truly impressive. Hey, I like your naming scheme :) How about making Datsville be located in NM, AZ, or TX(not CA) so that we can use Spanish names for all the buildings :) Aldea de Dats has a kind cool ring to it. :-) I've just started taking Spanish, and could help (...) Does Datsville need a Big House? This is a "tower" for one. It would be fairly big as you see, and I don't know if there is a limit. I guess it could be converted into a rail or airport tower. I just discovered MLCAD and have also been having some problems with subfiles not showing up when I open a file that was drawn in LDraw. After I posted my DAT file a couple of hours ago, I opened the file and only saw the basic parts of my model displayed, not the slopes, etc. I have never encountered this problem when viewing other people files. This is my first attempt at an LDraw model: it's very small. An open air market stall. If it's suitable, I guess several more would be in order with different color schemes. This house was for my non-existing lcad town too. It will automaticly (sp?) sit on a 32 x 32 baseplate. This house includes landscaping, and because of the walk-way, it's front should be against a sidewalk. When inserting into Datsville, set the (...) I'm not sure if this is a model, or more of an idea. Anyway, I built a low hill (4 plates high) on a 32x32 baseplate, with the high point in one corner of the plate, and two sides flat against the outside of the plate. (...) Use Lugnet's web-interface to post DATs. There's a "upload file" button provided. You just click the button, navigate to the correct file, and it gets uploaded along with the message. I just open the dat file in Notepad *1) Then select all text in it, copy and paste it into the message. *1) I have created a shortcut to Notepad in the C:\Windows\SendTo directory (at the same time as I deleted the options I never use).
