  Re: MOC Updates

(...) I noticed that a lot of the MPD files were out of date or incomplete. I've updated them all to the latest and most complete versions. You can also now download them all in a single archive. Sorry about that. -Mike (16 years ago, 5-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: MOC Updates

(...) Thanks! I'm working on an interactive tour using panoramic images. The scenes are taking a long time to render, so it might still be a few days before I am finished. -Mike (16 years ago, 3-Dec-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Minifig arms

I am having troule rotating the minifig arms so that they connect properly with the torsos. What are the correct rotation angles?   Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting

(...) That's because the history of this DAT goes like this: 1. I wrote the part, it was officially released as 553.dat in 2000. 2. The real part number was discovered, and the part was moved from 553 to 30367. 3. There hasn't been another parts (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting

(...) This is most likely caused by the export not using high enough precision in it's calculations. I'm guessing you can probably replace all these with zero. ROSCO (16 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting  [DAT]

(...) Right, done that and got rid of the errors, thanks for pin-pointing the location. Strangely all the 'missing' primitives were already in the .mpd file. I've also got rid of 553.dat There does seem to be a strangeness about 30367.dat (Cylinder (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting

In my first reply, I forgot to point out that you've got two copies of 52107.dat included in the MPD. That will cause most programs to bark. Steve (16 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Couple of queries with LDD exporting

(...) The MPD contains several references to a file called 'unknown'. It looks like most of these references were originally references to unofficial primitive files, like 1-24edge.dat. These 'unknown's occur in two subfiles - 553.dat (which isn't (...) (16 years ago, 23-Jan-08, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)
