I'm hooked on Pirates again (Thanks to the game @ Brickfest) and I need some Cutters, so I used the instructions from 6277 to make a virtual one. I still need some sails, but I'm close. (...) The problem is with LUGNET's code to return LDraw content (the [DAT] hyperlink). It doesn't recognize the .ldr file extension. If you copy the code out of your message, and save it in a new file, the monkypede renders just fine. I've attached (...) (22 years ago, 5-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) MLCAD is a very powerful program, 100% LDraw compatible but not the fastest alternative. When making buildings, I recommend BlockCAD. (...) My recommendation is to use NOTEPAD or another text editor. 1. Use MLCAD to make all your buildings, each in it's own file. Does anyone have any tips on doing really large models? I am trying to build a city. I have several buildings built, but when I start adding roads and the separate buildings to the scene, MLCAD bogs down. Even when I turn stud rendering off and go (...)
