(...) well... yeah... i mean... that cuts the number of lines in the .DAT in half... heehe... i figure i should try to make the .DAT as compact as possible, since converting from a 3DS model is going to mean i won't be using any LDraw primitives.. (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) nope.. i mean, you can create a sphere or cylinder, etc. in 3DS with primatives, but in just about all commercial modeling/rendering software (lightwave, softimage, MAX) everything is distilled down to verts/faces... those primitives are still (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.cad)
