Updated Flexible Objects LDDesignPad Plugin —Orion Pobursky
I've updated my Bezier curve plugin for LDDesignPad New in this version: -Preview the curve using LDGLite -Fixed the decimal point bug (I think. I have no way to test this) Download at my website: (URL) have significantly retooled how this plugin (...) (22 years ago, 28-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad)

Hi Orion, - The decimal point works fine here (Win 2000 french using comma as decimal separator). - If distance between endpoints is greater than curve length, you can't generate a curve, but there is nothing explaining the problem. - I tried to (...)      (...) Cool, thanks for letting me know (...) I'll add explanations next release (...) Yes this is a not yet implemented feature. I'd think in order to make things simpler for potential users you'd have chosen one of the viewers already (...) (22 years ago, 31-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Updated Flexible Objects LDDesignPad Plugin —Orion Pobursky
(...) Because LDGLite is the only program I know of with off screen rendering capability at a speed that is acceptible. I could have used L3P and POV-Ray but render times vary widely for that combo. -Orion (22 years ago, 31-Aug-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Updated Flexible Objects LDDesignPad Plugin —Tim Courtney
(...) What about LDView? You can associate viewers/editors with the LDR/DAT file extensions, and call it by opening the file. So, it could save a file and launch it in that program. I haven't used the curve generator (yet) but I just downloaded it. (...) (22 years ago, 19-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Updated Flexible Objects LDDesignPad Plugin —Don Heyse
(...) Off screen rendering means rendering in the background without opening up a window. This can be handy for things like web servers (such as the one running the parts tracker at ldraw.org). I'm not sure if LDView has an offscreen rendering (...) (22 years ago, 20-Dec-02, to lugnet.cad)
