Yes, sure, but with all great software out there, the most
useful part of the converter would be the algorithm used to turn
an image into ldraw lines. And *that* part could be easily rewritten
in another language.
Just imagine a web page with an CGI or servlet where you
could upload your picture and get it converted into a .DAT-file ;-)
