Here's the skids as promised. What catagory should this go into? Is it a brick, a bracket, or a plate? Possibly vehicle(car) base? Should its size (6x12x1&1/3)be somewhere in the description? I had checked the parts tracker to see if anybody was (...) (24 years ago, 31-May-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) How about the 'Plane' category? The existing categories for vehicle-related pieces are Boat, Car, Plane and Train. Out of those, Plane seems like the best bet to me. Although the skids wouldn't actually work on a plane (at least not more than (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

(...) Are you sure about that? It has always been my impression that "long" things face the X direction in LDraw. Take a look at the Car Bases, for example, a majority of them span the X axis. (...) Some bases are correctly lined up, some aren't. I agree with Steve here, it sohould be rotated. Has this part been officialed yet?
