(...) Thank you very much for this information, I just sent them a note that they have to stop selling MLCad .... I did never permit someone selling MLCad, I think we should try to keep the things free! But with such things happening I wonder if I (...) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: What CAD program is being auctioned here ?

Well, you know me, I LOVE to stir up trouble. So I sent off a rather innocent note to the seller. We'll see what I get back. I also sent a note to the buyer giving the MLCad URL and asking if that's what he thinks he won. He does, and he's not too (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: What CAD program is being auctioned here ?

(...) Well, I like to watch trouble, so good job! :-, In all fairness, the buyer did deserve what he got, getting excited over a Lego CAD program without seeing what else is out there. But by the same token, he'll undoubtably think twice about (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: What CAD program is being auctioned here ?

The buyer and I had a long exchange of emails. Seems a great guy and he was happy to receive the info I shared with him about cad (he knew that LDraw existed and that people talk about CAD on Lugnet, but not a whole lot else. He must be a nice guy, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I think you're right. (...) Maybe. I think it would be helpful to educate the seller, if possible, as his post is misleading. Who can say whether that will happen, though. (...) Like it's cheap talking to one IN your country. :-) Again, (...) (25 years ago, 13-Feb-00, to lugnet.cad)
