| | What does everyone think about using scaling to bring some models (esp. large buildings) into scale with the rest of Datville? As I see it, the benefit is that we can make use of, and show off, those buildings (such as Anders' rendition of his own (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | | (...) Yeah, what Jacob said. If, in the future, Datville will be accessable via VRML, the discrepancy would be noticable right away as the viewer zooms down the screet. I think it would be distracting. Better to keep what we can at scale from the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | I obviously wasn't clear enough in my original post. By "scaling" buildings, I mean using buildings that would otherwise be too large for Datsville, but down-scaling them in the town.dat file, i.e.: 1 16 540 0 -800 0 0 0.50 0 0.50 0 -0.50 0 0 (...) (25 years ago, 10-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
