Yeouch!  Are those LDU's?  The river's over 4 baseplates wide!  Must be the
Mississippi.  Maybe I'll have to rethink this as a suspension bridge.

Good thing it's not downtown, or there wouldn't *be* a downtown.

I'm not sure if 2800 is the width of the water or of the river+banks, but I
imagine Bram could clue us in.

What about r_d?  Is 240 the height from the bottom of the river to the
water level, or all the way to the top of the bank?
