Jacob got the buildmpd part just right, I think. (I've *just* wiped out my
machine, and am in the process of reinstalling everything. I don't have
anything LDraw-related running right now).
Oops, except for one minor detail:
Set the Working Directory to %path%. This will ensure compatibility with
future versions of LDAO.
Jacob was on the right track for splitmpd.exe as well. You must create a
BAT file which runs splitmpd.exe. Then point LDAO at the BAT file.
To create the BAT file, do this:
- Use Explorer to look at the directory where splitmpd.exe is located.
- Right-click the background of the folder
- Open Notepad (It's typically under Start | Programs | Accessories).
- Type the following:
<path>\splitmpd.exe < %1
where <path> is the path to the splitmpd.exe file.
- Click File | Save As.
- Navigate to your LDraw directory.
- For "Save As Type", select 'All Files (*.*)'.
- For the file name, type split.bat
- Click Save.
- Exit Notepad.
- Follow the procedure Jacob explained for setting up buildmpd, with the
following changes:
Use MPD Splitter as the name of the new tool.
The Command entry should be %base%\split.bat %model%
Again, the Working Directory should be %path%
The other entries should indicate a Splitter, not a Builder.
