  Lego Space Craft Movies
 
Hello all Lego CAD'ers, I'm interested in creating movies (animated sequences) based on Lego space ships. My intent is to create CAD files of some of my ships and then import those into Lightwave 5.5. My first question; is this possible? You must (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) CAD (...) are converted and used in another 3D program (I use trueSpace), there is no gap between the pieces. An example is that 2 2x2 bricks, end to end in the same color, look like a 2x4. Mayhaps the creator of DAT2DXF (forgot who, sorry...) (...) (25 years ago, 22-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I don't know, I've never used Lightwave but in case it doesn't read .obj or .3ds files, search the net for any freeware 3D file converter and you'll certainly find a program that can convert files to the Lightwave format. Leonardo (25 years ago, 26-Jul-99, to lugnet.cad)
