(...) I have built LDView from scratch in VC++ 2010 on a Win7 (64bit) machine and the resulting executable works like a charm, both in command line (cygwin), and from LPub. Didn't do any changes in the project file, so it must be something with the (...) (13 years ago, 21-Jan-12, to lugnet.cad)

The 2011-02 LDraw parts update has been now been released. This update includes 786 files in the core library, including 474 new parts. Some further progress. It turns out that I was able to convert a .DAT file to .STL with LDView & import it into SolidWorks, but it further turned out that, once I'd imported an .STL file into SolidWorks, I couldn't do very much with it. I can't mate (...) (13 years ago, 25-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad)
