Some further progress. It turns out that I was able to convert a .DAT file to .STL with LDView & import it into SolidWorks, but it further turned out that, once I'd imported an .STL file into SolidWorks, I couldn't do very much with it. I can't mate (...) (13 years ago, 25-Oct-11, to lugnet.cad)

Here are more detailed instructions: Wilbur * For the heioghtfield, I've found that a scale of 1 pixel = 1 baseplate works OK. In the "Surface > Size..." dialog specify the dimensions in pixels you want the heightfield to be. E.g. 100x100 pixels or (...) (13 years ago, 17-Sep-11, to lugnet.cad)
