Yes. In preferences you can choose an orientation file. The orientation file
is an LDraw file. If you have a part that you want oriented differently than
the default, you can put it into the orientation file (or make up your own and
use that) and orient it whatever way you want. You can also edit the "add part"
line in the file, and change the rotation/scaling array to change the size of
the part.
LPub2 had one file for orientation and one for scaling, but Philo and I realized
we really only need one.

No. You have no control over the order.

Yes, but you have to manually add the meta commands. I think they are this :^)

applies to BOM.
